Our Refund Policies

Standard Refund Policy
Please contact our office to request to withdraw from a class. A refund will be granted, less $15, provided the request is received by our office at least three (3) business days prior to the start date. Refunds are granted back to the original form of payment if paid by credit card, or electronic voucher on student account if paid by any other form of payment. If original credit card is unable to be credited, an electronic voucher will be issued. We will no longer accept payment via check as of July 1, 2024. Community Education courses are self-supporting. We count on registration fees for our instructors' salaries and to cover supply and equipment costs; therefore, we cannot provide refunds with less than three (3) business days' notice. A full refund is automatically granted if the class is cancelled by the Community Education Office. Please note: For healthcare, trips/travel, and select other classes there are alternate refund policies that apply.  


Motorcycle Refund Policy

Please contact our office to request to withdraw from a class or transfer to a new date. A refund will be granted, less $15, provided the request is received by our office at least three (3) business days prior to the start date. Refunds are granted back to the original form of payment if paid by credit card, or electronic voucher on student account if paid by any other form of payment. If original credit card is unable to be credited, an electronic voucher will be issued. We will no longer accept payment via check as of July 1, 2024. If you decide to transfer your class date, we must receive your request at least three (3) business days prior to the start date. Only one transfer is allowed and there are no refunds should you decide to cancel later. There is no guarantee of passage or licensure. Community Education courses are self-supporting. We count on registration fees for our instructors' salaries and to cover supply and equipment costs; therefore, we cannot provide refunds or transfers with less than three (3) business days' notice. A full refund is automatically granted if the class is cancelled by the Community Education Office.


Bus Trip Refund Policy
Refunds will not be granted for trips unless the space is resold after the trip fills to capacity. If resold a $15 processing fee will be retained. Refunds are granted back to the original form of payment if paid by credit card, or electronic voucher on student account if paid by any other form of payment. If original credit card is unable to be credited, an electronic voucher will be issued. We will no longer accept payment via check as of July 1, 2024. Please note: separate refund policy applies when booking a trip with Collette Vacations.


Healthcare Training Refund Policy
If a student requests to withdraw from the class, it must be submitted in writing to Community Education (email is acceptable). A refund will be granted under the following conditions and less the appropriate fees:
  • If received seven (7) business days prior to the starting date, the refund amount will be the course fee less a $250 administrative fee. 
  • If received prior to the third class meeting, the refund amount will be the course fee less a $400 administrative fee plus prorated consumable supplies up to $450. 
  • No refund will be granted after the third class meeting. Students who are dismissed from the program are not eligible for a refund. This is an intensive program and we make no guarantee of completion or passage.
Refunds are granted back to the original form of payment. If original credit card is unable to be credited, an electronic voucher will be issued.
