Emphasis will be on stroke development, technique, conditioning, goal-setting, physical fitness and race strategies. Professional coaches will motivate athletes to improve in a fun and positive learning environment. NOTE: NEW TEAM MEMBERS MUST BE EVALUATED PRIOR TO REGISTRATION. This will be a United States Swimming (USAS) registered team and all members must be USAS members. Participants must become USAS members subsequent to registration with SSAC. (This is a separate fee.) There will be several USAS sanctioned meets per year that the team will train for and participants may choose to attend. Participating in these meets is optional and at the discretion of the parents or guardian. Meet participants are responsible for all meet fees, travel costs and arrangements. Note: Swim meets are not part of the Sierra College Community Education Program.
