Beginning Yoga

Explore the foundations of the practice of Yoga. Discover breathing exercises to expand lung capacity; yoga poses for strength, flexibility, and balance; and exercises for relaxation. There will be special attention placed on moving at a slow pace to notice, feel, and develop body awareness with a compassionate attitude. Wear comfortable workout clothing and bring a yoga mat. Additionally, two yoga blocks are recommended, but not required.
