Designed to equip participants with the fundamental skills for using Microsoft Windows operating system, PJ will help you navigate, manage files, customize settings, and use built-in applications effectively on your home computer. Whether you're a novice or looking to refresh your knowledge, you’ll become more familiar with MS Windows, desktop elements, taskbar, and Start menu. Learn about file systems and how to create, rename, move, and delete files and folders. Discover how to launch, switch between, and close applications, including basic usage of common tools like Word, Paint, and Calculator. Lastly, get the skills you need to search web browsers, navigate websites, and perform online searches. Includes instructor-led demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and discussions. Bring your questions and challenges for personalized assistance. No prior Windows experience necessary. Basic familiarity with a keyboard and mouse required. Computers provided in class.
